The Silent Way : It is based on the premise that the teacher should be silent as much as possible in the classroom but the students should be encouraged to speak as much as possible.
Principles of The Silent Way
Teacher gives help only if absolutely necessary. He allows students to use their own knowledge of language learning.
Silence is used as a tool, the teacher becomes less necessary to the learning process.
Errors are important and necessary to learning
Student work on the language, not the teacher. Students should be able to use language for self- expression - to express their thoughts, feelings etc.-
wish you good work
